BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The CFBPA Board of Directors determines all institutional policy and guides major institutional decision making. The Board of Directors also ensures full compliance with the rules and regulations governing nonprofits like the CFBPA. The Executive Director sits on the Board as a non-voting member.

Jason Stahl
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Jason Stahl is the Executive Director and founder of the College Football Players Association (CFBPA). Jason is a former faculty member in the Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy and Development at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. At Minnesota, he also directed one of the largest programs for first-year student experience in the nation. It was through these twin roles that Jason met and educated hundreds of college athletes over a ten-year career. In these roles, Jason took a particular interest in the lives of the 60 or so football players who he came to know in the classroom. Seen by the public as “big men on campus” Jason came instead to see the more complicated reality of their lives as “student-athletes.”

Roxanne McCray
PRESIDENT
Roxanne (Roxy) McCray developed and organized NFL Wives for Change. The group is comprised of wives of veteran NFL players and was founded to increase and protect the benefits of retired NFL players suffering from cognitive impairment, CTE and other life-altering disabilities. NFL Wives for Change often partners with another nonprofit, Advocacy for Fairness in Sports, which brings together retired players, attorneys and journalists working for better treatment of NFL retirees.

Justin Falcinelli
VICE PRESIDENT
Justin Falcinelli was a Clemson offensive lineman for the 2014 -2018 seasons. He was a two-year starter, first team all-ACC center, honorable mention all-American, two-time College Fooball Playoff National Champion, and receiver of Clemson’s top Male Scholar Athlete award in 2018. He received a B.S. in management in 2017 and completed his MBA at Clemson in 2018 during his senior season.

Maddie Salamone
VICE PRESIDENT
Maddie Salamone is a sports attorney, college athlete advocate, and former lacrosse player for Duke University. She received her J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She entered college ranked #6 on Inside Lacrosse’s list of incoming freshmen and was an Under Armour High School All-American. Her numerous battles with injuries throughout her collegiate career, including bouncing back from three knee surgeries, gave her an intimate understanding of the physical, mental, and emotional issues many athletes endure.

Jordan Meachum
TREASURER
Jordan played the vast majority of his playing career at Sacred Heart University. At Sacred Heart, he was the Team Captain in 2019 and in 2018 was All-NEC and Top-5 in the FCS in all-purpose rushing with 1400 yards rushing, 237 yards receiving and 11 TDs. In both 2019 and 2020, he was preseason All-NEC. Jordan finished his final year of eligibility with South Dakota State University where he was an FCS National Championship runner-up.

Jaime Miettinen
SECRETARY
Jaime Miettinen is a sports and entertainment attorney in Detroit, Michigan who counsels athletes of all levels. She also is an adjunct professor teaching Sports Law at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Jaime received her B.A. in Economics in 2011 from the University of Michigan and her J.D. and Sports Law Certificate in 2014 from Tulane University Law School where she served as a Senior Editor for the Sports Lawyers Journal.

Dr. Thomas E. Dieters
BOARD MEMBER
Dr. Thomas E. Dieters is Board President of Charitable Gift America, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that does what no one else in the country can — empower student-athletes from the U.S. and abroad through NIL contracts with built-in charitable components. Tom has created several of the most efficient ways for donors to get their philanthropic dollars to their favorite charities, and his professional experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors is valuable to philanthropists, legal and tax experts, and finance and nonprofit organizations.
